Historic Horsley
At the heart of the Historic De Vere Horsley Estate, is Horsley Towers, an imposing Victorian Fairytale castle of a Manor House.
After we have settled into our rooms and enjoyed our three-course dinner, we will be given a talk about the history of this grade II listed estate and in particular about Sir Tommy Sopwith CBE the British pioneer, entrepreneur and the designer of the famous Sopwith Camels who then went on to help to design the Famous Hawker jump jet.
We will be staying in the more modern part of the estate, Horsley Place which is where the main reception, restaurant, indoor swimming pool and gym are situated.
