Fonmon Castle, Nr Cardiff Airport

Fonmon is one of the few medieval castles which is still lived in as a home. It was built by the St. John family in the early 13th century and has changed hands only twice.
Current owner Nigel Ford purchased Fonmon in 2019 and has turned the Castle from a home to a visitor attraction with many splendid areas open to visitors, including, the castle, various gardens, woodland walk and Lady Ann’s tea room.
Also, for the big kids amongst us, there is a Jurassic Science Centre, Medieval Farm, Iron Age information point and Welsh Story Trail.
Timings: Leave Leominster 9:00am., Hereford 9:30am., Ross 10:00am. We will depart and travel back to Ross 5:30pm, Hereford 6:00pm and Leominster 6:30pm.
