The NEW Gardens of Herefordshire

To make life easy, Rural Concierge has pre-arranged some exciting holidays.
The NEW Gardens of Herefordshire holiday includes:
2 nights in a 3* central hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis
Twin or Double – (you decide)hampton court herefordshire
The Hotel is situated in the centre of the historic market town of Leominster.
Breath taking countryside and picture postcard villages make this a truly unique, unspoilt corner of England and the ideal location for touring Mid Wales, Herefordshire and Wye Valley. It’s a popular location for walking, rambling, cycling or just driving around visiting beautiful gardens.
Not only that, we have included visits to four of the most historical, picturesque and award winning gardens based here in Herefordshire.

13673607573_f501181a5c_k2016 saw the 300th anniversary of the birth of England’s greatest gardener, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, best known for designing gardens and landscapes at some of the country’s grandest stately homes including: Blenheim Palace, Chatsworth, Highclere Castle, Burghley, Weston Park and Compton Verney.
One particular visit during your stay in Herefordshire includes one of his final works in around 1778. Part of the design includes a beautiful lake which is today designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to the established heronry on the lake island.
Herefordshire must be a great place for gardens – This is where gardener and presenter Monty Don lives and films for Gardener’s World.

For only £175 per person (based on 2 people sharing a twin/double room), come and enjoy 2 nights’ accommodation with breakfast each morning and a visit to four gardens each with their own style and story – all in some of Britain’s most picturesque and undiscovered scenery.20140426_155614
