13 October, 2016 saw Herefordshire’s very own Rural Concierge as the winner of the 2016 Best Rural Tourism Business Award, as presented by the Rural Business Awards in partnership with CLA.
Liz Hill founder and Director of Rural Concierge said “I am absolutely over the moon to win this award. It is real honour and great that I have received national recognition for my relatively new business. I have a vision to put Herefordshire on the map, and encourage rural tourism to develop and grow, and at Rural Concierge we cater not only for the local and national visitor, but we have a growing range of international clients too. We are so proud to be recognised for doing what we love”.
Based in Hereford city centre, Rural Concierge was established in 2013. Organising tours, trips and holidays, they are also the booking agents for coach companies such as Edwards Holidays and Yeomans plus many more. Since the closure of Hereford TIC last year, they also act as an unofficial tourist information centre. All provided with great customer service, located within Hereford Butter Market.
Liz recognised the need for a tourism based offering that supported local business and encouraged more visitors into the county, whilst also catering for local people wanting to explore Herefordshire and beyond.
