Stroud & Snowdrops at Rodmarton Manor

It’s that time of year for us to explore the beautiful Snowdrops of Rodmarton Manor.
Before our visit, we will have time to visit Stroud  ‘the Covent Garden of the Cotswolds’ . The town is now a centre for the creative industries with writers, artists and craftspeople taking up residence in the five sweeping valleys encircling the town, made famous by Laurie Lee’s “Cider with Rosie”

After lunch we travel to Rodmarton Manor for a visit to the gardens.
Snowdrops (Genus Galanthus) feature strongly at Rodmarton Manor where there are at least 150 different varieties , some small, some huge, with many different markings – some yellow and some green and including many rare ones will be on display for us to see for ourselves.
