Malvern Gardens Tour

The Dell House has a two acre wooded hillside garden of the 1820s. A former rectory now a B&B is now in the latter stages of recovery by new owners. Peaceful and natural, the garden contains many magnificent specimen trees. Informal in style with spectacular tree carvings, meandering bark paths, historic garden buildings, garden railway and a paved terrace with distant views.     Wheelchair access limited. Coach Parking will be away from the property and there maybe a steep walk to/from the property for a short distance. Sloping bark paths, some quite steep.

Little Malvern Court is home to ten acres of garden attached to former Benedictine Priory with magnificent views over Severn valley. An intriguing layout of garden rooms and terrace around house designed and planted in early 1980s; chain of lakes; wide variety of spring bulbs, flowering trees and shrubs. With a notable collection of old-fashioned roses as well as a topiary hedge and fine trees.

Timings: Leave Leominster 9:30am., Hereford at 9:50am., Ross on Wye at 10:30am.  Depart Birmingham at 4:30pm and travel back to Ross at 6:00pm, Hereford at 6:30pm and then Leominster at 7:00pm.
