What better time to visit a farm park, heading towards Spring time!
On arrival we have free time to either have a tour on the Farm Safari tractor with a live commentary around the site of Adam Henson’s farm or explore the rare breeds though the Heritage Walkway. We will then have time for lunch before our Heritage talk with tea or coffee.
Our afternoon talk will be a brief history of Joe Henson’s life leading up to the opening of the Cotswold Farm Park, as well as Adam’s story and how he then took over the park.
It will also include a history of the Farm Park from its opening in 1971 to present day, as well as stories about the rare breeds – how they became rare and how the Farm Park and the RBST are helping.
There will be information about their arable produce and there will be a selection of this produce to have a look at – oil, honey, beer as well as gift shop items.
