Perfect for history and art lovers, today we visit Coalport China Museum to enjoy inspiring displays including art castings and industrial treasures and see Abraham Darby’s Old Furnace. There is a café nearby for morning coffee and lunch.
In the afternoon, we travel through the village of Jackfield which was once one of the largest tile manufacturing areas in the world. We will also visit the Jackfield Tile Museum to see the magnificent tiles that decorated Victorian Britain as well as visiting period room displays such as a pub, tube station and a church and finish in the museums’ Peacock Café before heading home.
Timings: Leave Ross 8:30am, Hereford 9:10am, Leominster 9:40am.
Depart at 5:00pm and travel back to Leominster 6:30pm, Hereford 7:00pm then Ross 7:30pm.
